In MIDNIGHT DRIVE, the images convey and add emotion to a personal memory. There are no added sounds, only the sound of the narrator’s voice and the images as they unfold.
All images, colors and textures appearing in the film are recorded around the Brussels apartment in which the story was told and captured on tape, hence these immediate surroundings transform into a tangible part of the story. Even the film characters, who bring the story to life, are frequent visitors on the balcony of that same apartment.
