From the Wild Seain production 2019/2020
The film unfolds around the raw and windy shoreline of western Europe as the peak of winter draws near. Along the coast, extensive organized networks of volunteers keep themselves ready to rescue coastal wildlife from oil, plastic and storms in an attempt to remedy our industrial impact on the environment. But climate change is causing still more violent weather, and the seasonal winter storms are coming at them with an unprecedented roar. The encounter between human and nature is not without complications, and the film alternately takes on the perspective of both human and animal.
